An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required for all homes whenever built, rented or sold.
This is not designed to put buyers off a property, this is far from going to do this. It is designed to give advice on potential saving, i.e. Cavity wall insulation, loft insulation etc. It will also show the cost of running a property in its current condition.

The vast majority of estate agents now embrace floor plans as a value-added selling point, incorporating them into their web site and property particulars as standard. This can also be included with every Residential Energy Performance Certificate.
